Access to healthcare services is limited in rural Uttar Pradesh, which is home to approximately 75 percent of the state population. Additionally, rural communities have significant healthcare disparities compared to urban areas. We strive to collaborate with local communities, government agencies and healthcare professionals to better the healthcare outcomes in the state and improve the well-being of the population.
Poor health can lead to decreased productivity and increased healthcare out-of-pockets expenses for families. Thus, addressing healthcare challenges can contribute to poverty reduction and economic development in rural communities.
Through our interventions we endeavor to address the gaps in preventive healthcare, improve access to child and maternal healthcare, and augment the already existing government infrastructure and systems.

Uttar Pradesh has one of the largest youth populations in India, with a significant percentage residing in rural areas. Skill development can empower rural youth by equipping them with market-relevant skills, vocational training and practical skills to help them secure employment and be economically independent.
Skill development can facilitate in bridging the societal and economic divide by unlocking the potential of the youth population, reducing unemployment, and fostering economic growth in the region.
Through our programs, we aim to upskill the youth to meet the changing needs of today’s job market and play a facilitating role to help them achieve economic empowerment.
Gender disparities serve as roadblocks in the social and economic development of a society. Focusing on women empowerment in rural Uttar Pradesh is essential for challenging gender disparities, promoting equality, and fostering holistic development in the region. Women’s empowerment includes ensuring better access to literacy, employment opportunities, financial independence, healthcare as well as maternal and child health services.
Many rural women in Uttar Pradesh have limited access to quality education, affecting their ability to make informed decisions and access better economic opportunities. Empowering women economically through skills training and income-generating opportunities can reduce poverty and improve family well-being.
Upliftment of women can result in overall community development by contributing to improvement in economic growth, family dynamics, health, and education outcomes. Additionally, empowered women are more likely to invest in the well-being and education of their children and families. Empowering women leads to creating a more equal and gender just world.
Through our initiatives, we strive to collaborate with local women’s groups and community leaders in rural Uttar Pradesh to:

A significant portion of the population in rural Uttar Pradesh relies on agriculture for their livelihoods. We promote sustainable agriculture to enhance farm productivity and production diversity with a special focus on climate-resilient practices and sustainable management of natural resources.
Encouraging sustainable agriculture can diversify income sources for rural households by promoting alternative crops and livestock rearing. It has the ability to contribute to overall community development by enhancing food security, income, and environmental sustainability.
This provides us an opportunity to engage with the farmer community and make them aware of the technological advancements in the field of agriculture and align it with the traditional farming know-how and help them adopt better farming techniques to improve their yields. This includes helping people learn new farming techniques that help them withstand the impacts of recurring disasters. With the right knowledge and sufficient means, the farmer community can take the necessary steps to safeguard their own life, income and future.
